Nicola brings to Balense® a career built at the intersection of clinical expertise and cosmeceutical innovation. As Brand Director of Aesthetics Rx®, she developed a deep understanding of what skin actually needs, especially when it is at its most vulnerable.

It was that clinical perspective that shaped the new Balense® philosophy. Working closely with practitioners, Nicola observed a growing tension in the skincare landscape: increasingly aggressive routines, packed with high-strength actives, being promoted to younger, more fragile skin. The trend towards more was reaching the people who needed less.

She set out to create something different. A range that is genuinely efficacious and genuinely gentle. Because for troubled skin, young skin, and compromised skin, these qualities should never be in conflict.
